Helena Bonham Carter’s White Lotus role has officially been recast days after news broke that she stepped away from the HBO show’s fourth season.
Deadline reported on Tuesday, April 28, that Laura Dern is taking over the role. Details about her character have not yet been revealed, but the publication reported that White Lotus creator Mike White is developing something new for the actress.
Dern and White have been longtime collaborators, previously working together on Year of the Dog and Enlightened.
