A man who once served as a North Carolina community’s chief of police is behind bars this week, accused of raping a 16-year-old girl.
William Chad Green was arrested on Sunday, April 6, on a single count of rape.
Local news stations, citing an arrest warrant in the case, reported that the 51-year-old allegedly raped the girl on Friday, April 4.
The warrant alleged that Green forced himself on the girl who “is mentally incapacitated or physically helpless.”
The warrant contends that Green should have known “or should have known that the victim was mentally incapacitated or physically helpless.”...
