Australian snowboarder Cam Bolton was airlifted to a hospital in Milan, Italy after learning he broke his neck in a fall the day after the incident occurred.
Bolton, 35, fell during a training session in Livigno, Italy on Monday, February 9, while training for his 4th Olympic games. Though he appeared to be okay in the moment, walking away under his own power, Bolton woke up the next day with “severe” pain in his neck, according to a report from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
